Re: Trip to Ottawa

Dear friends and colleagues, Sisters and Brothers in the Ethnic Press and Media:

At the end of March, probably around the 24th of March and depending of the availability of Liberal Leader Bob Ray, we scheduled a day trip to Ottawa in order to visit the seat of the government and meet with the Liberal Leader and Caucus. This trip is organized by the NEPMCC in cooperation with the Hon. Jim Karygiannis, the Liberal critic for Multiculturalism.

We are planning the trip by busses (one or two), depending on the participation of the members. On our way we will stop for coffee and also in way back, so every member will have the opportunity to relax. In Ottawa there will be a lunch.

For this reason I am asking all the members from Toronto and Montreal willing to participate, please inform me by email of your intensions and also the number of participants (no more than two per publication).

Also a reminder that the nomination process for our annual Awards is now open and we accept nominations until the end of June. A number of them already received and I encouraged you all to participate.
